Blown engine control fuse #1

My truck was running fine then just died while i was driving, so i pulled over tried to restart and nothing, my lift pump didn't kick on my gauges didn't cycle and the odometer was flashing on and off. After i got the truck home i started checking fuses and the Engine Control Fuse #1 was blown so i put a new fuse in turned the key on and all my stuff worked for a total of about one second before the fuse blew again. It shows no check engine codes, i check all my grounds and connections to the batteries but that is all. Just looking for some ideas of if anyone knows were to realy start to look at this issue, i've never had any thing like this happen before. O ya i forgot when the key is on and that fuse is out my overdrive light stays on real dim but is on always with the key in the on position and wont turn off with the o/d button
