got codes

put my smarty on my friends '00 and got 1693 and 1763. the manual i have doesnt go that high. the truck feels like its lacking fuel on the top end. he doesnt any gauges so im not suure whhat the fuel press. is.

also, i have tried my smarty and he tried a super chips and niether will work. my smarty says unknown software.

so the 1763 says the voltage at the governor pressure sensor is to high. anyone ever have this problem and know how to fix it??? Thanks
