Glow plug Relay

Ive been around Fords all my life and I have just purchased my first dodge. 2002 3500

Where is the glow plug relay located? Is there control modual?

These motors don't have Glow plugs

Another good things about the Cummins! There is no Glow plugs!! WE have grid heaters.

I couldn't tell you were the glow plug relays are but you should be able to find the heating grid relay in the owners manual.

glow plugs

these are used on Fords and Duramax but Cummins has a heater grid that heats the incoming air.

Real trucks don't have Spark plugs or Glow plugs!

there's a fusible link and a relay for the grid heater...what makes you think it don't work?

This is a real truck engine we don't use any sticking Glow Plugs!
Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on buying a truck with a real Diesel engine.
I am also a Ford convert, all Gasser, but chose the Dodge Cummins as it is a Medium duty Truck engine, rather than the light Duty like Power stroke and Duramax.
Just remember that Dodge built the Trick around the Cummins, they didn't build an engine to fit the truck.
Next step fill in your signature, lets see what you got. My Cummins only has 240,00 miles on it so far. The truck part also loos new.
