99 24v Crank but wont start

Ok guys looking for some incite to what this could be.

206,000 Miles
Getting fuel to fuel can
Getting fuel to injectors 1,3,4
50 degree`s outside at test.
Sometimes when im driving and coming to a stop it will stutter and try to rev up and then feels like it wants to die(mostly when its warmed up)
no real upgrades(intake/exhaust)is about it.

Could this be the VP?

Stil the truck dosnt wanna start. Any help to what this could possibly be would be very helpful. Thanks Brendon.

You all have a link to that troubleshooting guide? Mine started, but I could hear while standing outside the truck talking with a friend that it seemed to sound kinda softer than normal. The it just shut off. And now it seems to crank faster and easier than normal, and just plain won't start?

You all have any troubleshooting direction? That guide would be greatly appreciated.

Have fault codes read is a first step.

Try Blue Chip Diesel Performance Specialists for the diagnostic procedure.
Mopar1973Man has some intresting write up's also.
You might even do a search on this forum or look at sticky threads at top of this forum.

Thanks for the insight and the link. Will there be codes to read even I'd there isn't a check engine light? Forgive me for my ignorance, as I've pined for a diesel for years, and this is the first one I actually owned. 2000 2500 5.9 no mods (that I know of), 77000 miles.

I'll have to go do the loan a tool program and grab the scan tool and get back to you. I'll go check theobvious stuff I've read about on these forums first, and post back on a new topic when I get that far.
