Recalls on 2001 Cummins 2500

Looking to see if anyone knows if there was a recall on the oil pressure sending unit or anything that regards the oil pressure gauge to quit working. Its on my brothers truck he went down to the parts store just to buy a mechanical gauge. They told him another customer had been in recently for the same reason and found out later it was actually a recall part. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No.

Only a recall on the K&N performance intake kit, also sold as a mopar performance part. Something can break off and cause the throttle to stick open apparently. I'm guessing this was for gas engines.

Thank Yall for the responses. Anybody know exactly where the wiring runs for the sending unit? Thinking its a possibilty a bad connection or wire shorting out, the truck sat for awhile and he has chased a couple mice out of it.

Have you considered that the sending unit may have failed?
Just look at a couple of listings, Geno's list at $95 Ouch! Others are higher, You should check the wiring. Looking at the Haynes manual, it is a Grey wire with a yellow trace that goes through two connectors to the gauge. The other lead Grey only goes to the warning light.
