I have the center bearing taken off the 01 Quad cab long bed. I have the spicer # off the center bearing 231212 is the number. I looked up the number online, and says that it is discontinued. I can not find anything that this bearing cross references to. Any one else have trouble finding a bearing for an 01?? Or does anyone know what bearing will cross reference this one.
Napa has the right looking bearing with the exception of the inside diameter. They have the bearing that is 1.43" ID. The one that I took off has an ID of 1.5748". It is actually called a center support bearing. The carrier bearing is in the differential I believe.
i had the same problem but found the solution. if you really cant find it you can call a company called driveline service of fresno. it is located in fresno ca and they also have a polyurathane insert to replace the rubber surrounding the bearing. its the heavy duty solution that you can forget about.
another alternative would be to get the correct diameter from the dealer and then go to rock auto.com and match it up with the right one from them, i got alot of parts for mine from them with good luck, sans carrier bearing which came from the local dealer
I found that one as well, but it is the wrong one. I just got back from Proven Force Driveline and Clutch. This is a local shop by me, and I found the exact one that I took out. It is a Spicer 211963-1x metric. The one above has a centerline of 2.284", the spicer has a centerline of around 3.125". I figured I would post the part number for anyone that needs to find this part.
