Engine Codes P1693,P0602 and P0234!!

Hi,
I have a 98.5 24 cummins with a 4 inch straight pipe stack, a k and n cone air filter and "custom" air intake, and two months ago installed a superchips max micro tuner that I got from a friend. I always left the tuner on tow-safe wether I has driving around town or towing a trailer. Last week I did I diagnostics test using the superchip and it brought up the engine codes P1693 and P0602. I did some research and from what I found it seemed these codes were not of a concern, however I took the chip out anyways and cleared them. Yesterday I did another diagnostics test and the codes P1693 and P0234 appeared. I again researched and it seems that P0234 is an overboost code. I do not understand what this means exactly, and I have no idea how to fix it other than knowing the map sensor could be involved. The truck has 225,000kms on it (150,000ish miles i think?) and I have had not troubles with it previously. I was leary about chipping it but a power increase for free was hard to resist(i do not know wether the chip contributed to the problem or not). Also, about the same time when I found the two diagnostic code i noticed the temperature gauge with heat up passed operating temperature after cold starting the truck before settleing in at 90. When I step on the gas the temp increases. It never did this before I read the two first codes. Does anyone know how to fix these problems and prevent them from happening again? Should I not chip the truck or just buy a better tuner?
Thanks!

The 1693 is a companion code. The 602 code is caused by your superchips code. Try cleaning your MAP sensor to take care of the 234 code.
