Clutch ???

Pretty sure my clutch took a crap today. actually a few days ago, but it acted up again today. drove to school this morning, ran fine. after school, and i pushed the clutch in to start the truck up. i knew something was up because it didn't roll forward at all, and i was parked on a pretty good hill. well anyways, got goin, and the clutch will release, but its super hard to get into gear. if i shift with the clutch it pretty much just grinds. in neutral, somethings grinding or rattling like crazy. and when i let go of the clutch from a stand still, the truck bucks and shakes and it feels as if it doesn't know if it wants to go forwards or backwards. anyways, has anyone had this? is it the clutch or my tranny? i putting out around 350 hp on a stock clutch, so i'm hoping that it is the clutch. Time to upgrade anyways. but it seems that once i'm in gear and rolling, everything is ok? any ideas?

Sounds like you have an organic clutch and it is coming apart and pieces are jamming up causing the drag. It will definitely not get any better, or go away without parts and labour.

If you have a ceramic clutch then you have broken spring pieces, jamming it up.

Pretty sure its a stock clutch. i'm not thinking its the hydralics because when i hold the pedal down, it doesn't seem to engage any more then what it already is. somethings wrong and i need to pull the trans, first i need to find a new clutch. any suggestions of what is the best bang for the buck???? need prolly a 350 to 400 hp clutch?

Go with something that will hold more than what your planning on.

I was thinking of the valair with the ceramic/kevlar linings? is that a good clutch? i want something that will hold well, yet can still be used to tow. that and i want to be able to hold more power then what i'm putting out now.
