6 speed auto off 07 on an 01 5.9???

Does anyone know if this would work or not. I love the 2nd generation over the new ones by far but they have inmproved the trannies alot i think it would be awesome to have those 6 speed autos on the 2nd gens

Or at least a 5 speed auto...something cause it seems the 4 speed's suck

The common rails had a 4spd, only the 07.5 has the 6 speed. Honestly, they all have their faults and all need beefing up after 100 hp. Cheapest route, 5 or 6 spd manual, dual disks are cheaper than torque converters, valve bodies and billet shafts.

What about another brand of 4, 5 or 6 speed auto?
