IMO--the biggest diff is in the fuel filter housing and the MAP sensor....

98.5-00--the auto's had the hx35
01-02--hy35 on the auto's...

the 98.5-01- SO trucks
01.5-02---SO on the auto's and 5 speeds and HO on the 6 speeds

01.5-02---had disk breaks on the rear....
