I have an Edge Comp on my 99 and I haven't seen ANY mileage gains until I'm loaded down with a trailer. I think unloaded I actually make about 1 mpg worse... that's a COMP though. Power gain is pretty significant though.

well this makes me glad that I'm not the only one seein this. I've read over Edge's website over and over again tryin to figure out just how the module works (and ways to maximize fuel efficiency) and I really haven't gained a whole lot of insight.... lol. But they PROMISE that we'll see mileage increase..... oh well. At least there is other people out there that side with me. What I think is the truth is that on our ISB Cummins the only way to electronically increase power is to tap into that pump wire that we all tapped into to install the edge and provide some sort of an amplified signal to it. This in turn makes either a prolonged injection or just an injection under higher pressure. Either way the bottom line is that it's gonna take more fuel to do either. So I beleive that any way we look at it (especially with manual transmissions because of the one to one ratio through the clutch) we are never going to make better mileage with an electronic module... just my two cents though. Anyone else with ideas feel free to let em out
