something is still wrong with comp

ok i bought and installed the comp on my truck an it seemed that it was in ez mode so i bought a stealth plate from bd hopeing to solve my problems. The other day me and old smokey94 and a dodge mechanic from a local dealership put it in and bought out the test light and started checkin if everything was connected right and everything looked ok but when we took it for a test drive i didnt seem like i was getting the full effect. where did i go wrong? it still dosent want 2 smoke when i rev it in neutral could it be the box mabe? id appreciate all the help i can get with this thanks guys.....

A comp shouldnt smoke when reved in nuetral, unless the map is unplugged. And try a different ground, dont use the intake horn.

As Caleb said you won't get any smoke in nuetral. You have to be spooling the turbo up to get smoke in these trucks. With your stock injectors you also are not gonna cloud the roads up no matter what you do. You should get some smoke but nothing like your gonna see when you get those new sticks installed.

Thats probably about right, seeing as you have intake and exhaust. Mine ran about like that when all I had Was a Drag Box.

My truck is doing the same thing, it wont change on setting 4 or 5. I bought the box used, I have a thread here about it. I called Edge and they are going to test the box for free and let me know if theres anything wrong with the box or wiring harness, I think its something in the wiring harness on my truck. It should be arriving at edge today. Comp not working

You can also pull the plate off the edge box and see if the blue LED's are scrolling. If they are you hooked up the pump wire right, if there solid lights on you didn't.

My front plate fell off, but I didn't see any lights under it. Are you sure you are talking about the Comp and not the EZ or the new Juice model.

when me and "dieseljunkie" put this thing in with the pump plate from BD, it just does not seem like the 120hp and 350ftlbs like Edge claims.
But, of course i am a die-hard 12v man so i get all the power i want without messing around with wires and junk. But yall said as soon as he puts in some bigger sticks .... then it will really go like hell???

TIME FOR SOME STICKS MAN!!!!!!!

You won't ever get the full affects of any controller with the stock sticks, they just won't deliver enough fuel to do the job. In all the talks about not makin smoke, keep in mind that in comparible setups a 24V isn't gonna smoke like a 12V.
