exhaust options?

Does a dual 4" exhaust make a big difference over a single as far as performance and sound? The price difference is pretty steep.

I wouldnt really expect more performance. but I hear there is less drone. I have the duals and it is pretty quiet. even without a muffler. when I nail it, it will make some noise.

Duals are just for looks..... Part of the system is a single split into duals. They look great but don't expect any HP gains.

We were talking about this last night/this morning in the chat, I think you might be able to fit a 6" ovaled peice of stainless as a downpipe, hook it to 8" back to 8" stacks. It wold be about the same restriction as a hood stack... It should have a pretty deep sound though, with the 8" and all. If you dont like stacks, you could run it to the bumper but it might require a suspension lift.

:-p
