I can't upload 1.3.4 to the Pulse. I've tried the preinstaller, USB updater, and still the Pulse is not detected. The version currently on the Pulse is 1.2.8.

Is it an old Beta version of the Pulse?

The very first ones cannot take 1.3.2 or 1.3.4 unless they were sent back and had the processor exchanged.

I just know you did some testing so I was thinking that might be the case?

There were/are some issues with some of the Pulse monitors and you cannot download the update. You may need to send it in to Quadzilla to have the Pulse updated.
I suggest calling them to find out what you need to do.

Just because it's brand new doesn't mean that it wasn't sitting on a shelf somewhere for awhile. If you can't figure it out then give them a call.

The Hot Unlock code is for the Custom Tuning which will be unlocked when you updated to 1.3.2 or 1.3.4

a couple hours later i got in my truck to go home and it was fine at first,by the time i got home i could hardly read it again.

downloaded the dyno2 4k tune tonight and took it for a spin. If i hit WOT in first gear or hold past 3500rpm in any other gear it will stall the truck. seems to be the same problem as the origional dyno tune had. anyone else try the new tune out?

I still think the dyno tunes aren't meant for the street... I understand that it fuels so hard it drains the VP.
