i have friends here with both the comp/smarty stack and the quad adrenaline. both love both setups. neither one would have the others setupid haha not that this is helping much. just saying you probably wont regret either decision

I've tried the edge and the quad. I switched to the quad and havent looked back. But the edge is tried and true. Either setups will have you happy.

Since you already have the comp, I would probably just stack a smarty on top of it.

Love my quad!! Switched from a edge comp with hot unlock to the quad and this chip is a beast to the edge, nothing bad about edge but quad really has their together now and I would not trade this chip for anything also the stuff they are still coming up with for it.

What kind of Quadzilla do you have because I'm looking into getting my dad a programmer for his birthday. But I have a-pillar gauges so I don't need the monitor just the box. So is quad better?

adrenaline with the pulse v2, if you get just the control pod you won't be able to custom tune. also is your dads truck a vp truck too?

I have the quadzilla with adrenalin, I have monitor witch allows for custom tuning and like said before turbo timer, high idle, and data logging. Debends on who you ask some people are hard core edge guys and only run edge some are superchips guys, you see where I'm going with that, you simply take our advice and go with that. Hope it helps some.
