CPP or Valair torque converter.

I have a 99 2500 4wd. The current mods are FBD straight 5 inch, Quad Adrenaline, Airdog 150, CPP 150hp injectors, and a DTT valvebody. I am stuck between what single disk converter to buy. I am still running the stock shafts. I will take my chances with the input holding up. With that being said what single disc converter is recomended? I tow cars around often but that is only around 6500 pounds. I am looking to place an order tomorrow.

Sounds like i shouldn't waste my time with the single disc. After more reading i am just going to order the billet input shaft and a triple disc goerend converter. I do not drive the truck easy plus i plan to hook a sled in 5 weeks and want to lock the converter while pulling.

You have to pull the whole trans for the input shaft, and doesnt the trans need to be taken aprt to install the shaft, otherwise can you not slide the trans back and install the converter alone.

I have a DTT valvebody. I went ahead and ordered the triple disc and billet shaft. I can't wait to test everything out.
