The next step

Ive gotten my truck to a certain level, but now im looking to go to the next step. With the tranny being built this week, its time for injectors and a bigger turbo. I was thinking somewhere in the area of 150hp sticks but maybe bigger to accomadate twins? but not sure what turbo setup would be best. How hard is it to stack a big turbo with my stocker. Or is it a better route to go with a bigger single? I have no expierence with aftermarket turbos and really dont know where to start.

I'm no expert, but it looks like if you're going to be doing moderate to heavy towing, twins would be in your future, but they're also more complicated and cost more $, but they will spool much quicker than a large single, you could look into compounding your stock turbo with something like a ht3b. That's just a rough Idea though, maybe someone with a little more knowledge on the subject will chime in to help get you exactly what you need/want.

Look at turbolvrs supercharger setup, not cheap but easier to install than twins, and arguably better off the line and towing. I put one on yesterday, it's a simple install

Is my stock turbo worth stacking? I have been thinkin about just getting a 62 now with my 150sticks and just upgrading to bigger injectors when i get the money to stack it with a 66 later. But am still very open to anybody elses opinion. I change my mind on this it seems every half hour...

24valvin,

I just went from a Super B Special to a compound setup. It is a S357/S475, and the spool up is nice. I am running 175hp injectors and just getting my feet wet with this setup. Shoot turbolver a PM and see what kind of input you get from him.
