Well My 5" straight pipe from flopro (got it at RSD.com) is uberloud.. I have a 6X18" rbp tip .

My truck is really loud but if I put the quadzilla on lvl 10 it screams 5 times more and it echoes like crazy. I say keep the 4" straight and buy a quadzilla adrenaline, the truck will wake up and will change in sound alot when you press on it

Actually the Larger the diameter the pipe, the more mellow the exhaust sounds.

Yup, a 3" straight pipe will be louder then a 4" or 5"... but in my opinion, a 5" straight pipe sounds the best. I mean the difference from 3" to 4" or 4" to 5" isn't that noticeable... but to me you can notice the difference from 3" to 5" pretty easily. A 3" straight pipe is more raspy and angry sounding, while a 5" straight pipe is more deep sounding and sound more like a semi to me. Either way I don't think you'll be dissappointed.

Get a 5". A friend of mine had a 1999 dodge 2500 auto with a few upgrades an when he hammered down it was louder than a common rail

I run the 5" diamond eye, works well and is seriously loud when I have it turned up and hammer it. Probably switching to a stack soon, but the 5" is the right choice for a tbe

i had a 4 inch but then when i melted my piston and started doing more to my truck i bought a 5 inch for it and i must say i did notice a difference. When my truck had stock injectors and turbo on it the truck didnt scream, it was just deep sounding like a semi. Once i put the injectors and turbo on now it screams when at WOT, i LOVE the way it sounds now.
