The filter pictured above is the new filter that has been in circulation for quite a while. An easy way to seperate the 2 visually is. The old one had a plastic drain at the bottom. The new one is metal as show. Also the old one had the AirDog logo printed on the filter. These have stickers on them for the time being.
Quite honesltly if you want to run a cross you need to verify the specs. The Luberfiner has been verified, the Fleetguard cross is different on flow and separation rates (and not for the better), Baldwin doesn't list a cross, Wix never seems to match filtration/separation rates (probably why their flow is always higher ), and Donaldson makes one; I don't know the specs and while Donaldson always meets or exceeds filtration specs I have seen them fall short with f/w separation specs... So at this time run the LFF9594.
