3 1/2 i/c piping question

I did a little searching on this and came up empty, would fabing up a 3 1/2" intercooler pipes and intake horn be worth the hassle, it would be going on with my he351/s475 compounds

100% agree. I've made close to 600 with stock intercooler, intake manifold, intake horn etc..

Money and time can be better spent else where.

After removing my head from my posterior, and thinking about my power level, and the other guys on here that make way more power using stock stuff, I determined I had diarrhea of the mouth and a constipated brain.

Uh no.

Op, the cylinder head is the restriction. The 3" tubing will support over 1k hp and has done so regularly.

Boy that is scary thought.

Fwiw Carl said he found gains with it. How much I do not remember.

yea i know there is little to no gain but the "oh look at that" factor goes up when you have a solid 3.5" polished tube rounded on that side of the bay. i know it is unnecessary but i still plan to do this along with a twin 4" cold air initake

2000 Dodge 2500 ecsb bronze and silver 2-tone. auto 2wd with egt, boost, and tranny temp gauges.
