Thoughts On My New Truck's Current Setup 2000 5 Speed 4x4

Hi all,

First off, I'm new to modifying diesel trucks.

Just got my hands on a 2000 2500 with a 5 speed and 4x4. Truck has been modified by the previous owner who builds pull trucks. This thing smokes like crazy. Not sure if I should put smaller injectors in it, or upgrade the turbo to a bigger single and put in a compound setup later on, or just leave a bigger single.

My goals are to have enough power to have some fun as a daily driver and have the fuel economy of my '01 at 22MPG, but also a bit more towing power. I haul a car trailer a few times a month, typically longer trips.

The current setup:
AFE intake with BHAF
5" turbo back exhaust
BD Super B single turbo 58/74
Industrial Injection 180HP injectors
APR 425 head studs
Edge comp box (no hot unlock) -> personally have never used one of these... it does not have pod guages so I've had this turned off becauase I don't have anything to watch EGTs right now.
Valair ceramix dual disc clutch with upgraded hydraulics
Valair 1 1/4" input shaft
Fass 150 lift pump

Bigger turbo is always more fun. 62/65/14 should suit your injectors well
