Oh its not just the VP I would be concerned with, but everything else as well. Clutch, transmission, tires,.....my safety.

Back to the OP. The problem I see with all other programmers on the market is the lack of adjustment for fuel vs boost and timing. Quadzilla is the only one now with way better control than Smarty or SuperChips could ever think of. Still in all Smarty being the most expensive tuner on the market dollar per HP but give so little control of fuel and timing. All programmers are limited to 60-65 HP period that's it...
Yup, that's the problem, no adjustability. I had a common rail tuned with the Smarty s06. I know it's not as good as what's on the market today, but it's leaps and bounds better than anything I've seen for the vp trucks. The s06 could change so many characteristics of the powerband, not just max output.

Dude, Me, you are way smarter than I am. Lol. That video explained so much.
So basically, the end result of what I'm looking for in a tuner is available, but only via v2 tuning.
Really my original question was answered in the last couple of minutes of the video.
Last question: can you have the v2 tuning and not wiretap? Basically just take advantage of the 65 horse of canbus tuning and adjust it how you want (think low smoke pre-boost).

Yes you can. Wiretap only comes in on levels 4+ you can leave it not tapped and the canbus will still be effective

Dumb question...but what does one need to buy for the V2? Just the normal Quadzilla box and a cheap Bluetooth device?

Buy a Quadzilla ADR with the Iquad and whatever device you want. If you want IOS then get the wifi iquad, if you want andriod then use the bluetooth iquad.

I would be shocked if most dont have an old phone laying around that works PERFECTLY as a screen.

You just need the Adrenaline kit with iQuad or iQuadBT depending if you want to use Apple or Android devices respectively.

I would post the links, but a quick internet search of IQUADBT1002 and IQUAD1002 will result in a better price than our online store.

@ the videos: holy cow, that's exactly what i was asking for. No wire-tap, low-to-no-smoke, and good power. I'm saving my pennies now! And I'm up for a cell phone upgrade from Verizon, so I'll just keep my phone for the screen, sweet.

You know what's really driving this for me is the retarded need to smog diesels here in California. I'd like to drive something with good power that's smog-able. Also the reason I really don't want to upgrade the turbo from anything that doesn't look stock.
