50, 75, or 100hp injectors

I have a 99 3500 with 4 inch stainless exhaust, airdog lift pump, and a edge comp. I am going to put bigger injectors but not to sure which ones. My truck does have 270k miles. My question is what is the best for performance vs price. I don't want to put crazy amount of money on something that could possibly blow or cause problems later. I was thinking 75hp injectors. Thanks in advance

Depending on what you're after and what you use your truck for, the middle of the road lots of people seemingly choose is 75 hp.

Ive got 7x.010s that I really like. I wouldnt suggest them if you dont plan on doing a turbo upgrade. They make great power and really have a good seat of the pants feel. EGTs can get hot as expected but nothing super crazy or uncontrollable. Id talk to jkidd on here he's the owner of DAP theyve got really good prices on injectors.

02 6 speed QCSB, leveled, cowl hood, 6000K HIDs, drag comp, DAP 7x.010 SAC sticks, SB 3250 dd clutch, 5in exhaust, AFE intake, Fass 150, glowshift (EGT,boost,FP), chrome 20x14 xd riots, 33x12.5x20 toyo m/t, follow me on instagram for truck pics @pr0ject_blue

My DAP 75hp injectors are awesome. I don't have a wiretap so I'm limited on what I can do with them, but I'm MORE than satisfied with current performance. Stock turbo is hitting 29psi and I'm creeping to 30-31 in lockup. Egt's get to around 1200 on a full throttle run 0 to 65. Haven't towed with them. I did toast my stock torque converter about a month after I put them in and I'm sure the rest of the stock 150k mile trans wasn't to far behind.

1999 qcsb 4x4. Tim Barber built trans with Revmax parts. 75hp DAP injectors, BHAF, old as dirt power puck, BD steering box stabilizer, stock hx35 at 26psi, 5" straight piped, dabs of rust everywhere.

I've got a set of +50 HP injectors from Vulcan Performance and Quadzilla Adrenaline. I would say 50's or 75's are very safe. But I would trade the Edge Comp for the Quadzilla way cleaner power and way better control of fuel and timing.

Do you still have a stock turbo? If so then you can easily max out the turbo with 50's

True... With just the +50HP injectors and the Quadzilla I'm bumping 40 PSI worth of boost pressure now.

I ran some ddp 75 sticks for 3 years with a hx35/40, put on 165000 km on them. With the edge tured off, empty I struggled to hit 1000įF, on kill she'd touch 1200įF. Loaded at about 21k gross I'd touch 1200 with no tuner and 1350 with it on kill, thats driving through the mountains 3500+ feet above sea level as well. She'd also make 30 psi no tuner and 40 on kill. I loved that setup. Not smokey at all unless you lagged it and was trying to be smokey.
I'd personally do 75's and not have to worry about watching g the gauges or do 100's and keep the edge on lower settings.

1998.5 Dodge Ram 2500 qclb 5spd "handshaker"
Dap 7x.010 injectors, HX40, SB3250, FASS 95, ARP425, Edge drag comp.
