Itll choke quicker if you do that. I wouldnt wanna run one with a small housing id rather just throw more fuel at it to make up the difference

The .70 is a no go on the 69. I think the biggest you would want with that housing would be a 64/??/.70

The .80 is a no go as well. The majority of the issues I know of are with that housing. There is no reason to stuff that turbine with compressor wheel combo in a t3 housing. It comes with a t4 for a reason.

justanotherwhitedodge, thrust bearing and shaft bearing. No wheels exploding yet.

Other than justanotherwhitedodge Ive only ever heard of people using that turbo with T4 housings on common rail 2nd gen conversions. Supposed to be a really good turbo for that application

I have 3 buddies with them. All with .80 housings. This turbo isn't about response, it is about top end power. I know we all use a ton of stuff outside of design intent but this is one thing I do not suggest it with.

Yeah I gotcha Im not intending to use one for that reason. Id rather have some pretty good spoolup and response. I think Im gonna go with a 63mm on my personal build. Kinda keep the response of a 62mm but flow a little more like a 64mm although the map isnt really that much different on them.

I know a guy with a .70 housing on his 12 valve and he says he loves it but I don't want to have a 1500 dollar time bomb with a small housing like that
