Actually another buddy and I were discussing that side of it as well. We agreed the opening pressure should be lower. Now we get into the issue "IF" it will cause warming issues. Someone needs to test it as all the other stuff I have read....no one has as far as I know. I would if I had a bypass on my truck.

I'll be the test pig then! Lol. I'll see what i can find for a 25-50 psi regulator. I also plan on puttin a gauge on my head by number six too see what it gets to ridin around. It will probably be a couple months before my truck is driveable though, sadly.

I am not turning the rpm when the majority of the issues arise. And I am out of room with the wastegate on the manifold.

Watts 5300A Bypass Control Relief Valve

I chose the 5300a since it will regulate from 0-250 psi where as the cheaper watts 530c that some people use won't regulate below 50 psi. This is the cheapest one I could find. My truck isn't running so I can't attest to how well it works.

Thank you for that part number. Been having trouble finding a half in pipe regulator below 50 psi.

How well does it clear everything behind the engine? My concern will be adjusting the valve with engine in the truck

I would use hose and fittings to run it from between the head and firewall to locate the valve on top or beside the engine so you can adjust it or replace it easier. You have to plumb towards the thermostat anyhow.
