New to upgrading my ram diesel but I want a turbo and 125 sticks for a 6 speed. ??

My truck is an 01 xcab with air dog, intake, exhaust, quad adren, and twin disk clutch.
Quad is many years old so I'm sure it needs an update and the batteries have died several times so not sure if anything saves... but I was considering 62/65/14 and ddp 125s.
Only tow a car trailer once in awhile, mainly just a dd. Has 3:54 gearing and 305/55/20 tires
Any help to a newbie diesel ram guy would ne greatly appreciated

Much better injectors for the money. Look at dap or dfi.

I would call dap and see if they have a suggestion for you.

Our shop truck is an 01' 6spd with a 62/65/12cm turbo, 125hp DAP injectors, Monster Air Intake, 5" exhaust, DAP intake horn, and the Adrenaline. If you go with the 12cm housing over the 14cm with that turbo and 125hp injectors, you will be VERY satisfied. Our truck was originally setup to tow, and it has no problem pulling. The new V2 tuning helps immensely, so that is an option for you as well with your Adrenaline. .

Call DAP and talk with them, they can help with getting you the perfect combination for your truck.

Awesome! Ty! Last question. What do you think of the 62/68/12 compared?
A few guys said just get the 125 sticks and leave the 35 alone the turbo upgrade isn't worth the $.
Please let me know and I will be in touch about upgrading my quad! Love that thing!
Thanks

125's and a wiretap is too much fuel for the hx35. It can be managed, but I wouldn't suggest the setup. A turbo is a good idea.

00 Dodge 2500 quad 5.9 Cummins, DFI 7x.009, he351ve arduino controller, homebuilt 47re revmax 3.5 messed with vb, Quad adr V2, 4",150 gph, studs/sprgs/psh rds

you really cant go wrong either way. i had 125's and a 57/65/14 on my 6 speed for a year and absolutely loved it, a blast to drive. you should be happy with either one, the 65 may spool a tad faster than the 68, but it will be a VERY minute difference.

I took ganzeys advice on the 57 65 14 on my 98. Love this turbo. It spools much quicker than the worn out 63 that came off. With your 125 sticks and quad, you might like the 62 better. It will have a lot more on top. With the quad v2 tuning, you'll get everything you need down low too.

Yea 90% of the driving i did with that setup was w/stock tune. When i turned the edge up for pulling/drags it died out on the top end. I wish i would have put my sxe on before i did the injectors to see how it would go with the 125's

I always leave the edge maxed unless I'm pulling a heavy trailer. Egts aren't a problem and it gets better mpg if I can keep my fat foot out of it. I think my wife has trouble keeping her fat foot (slender but heavy) out of it too. When she's got that truck, the mpg doesn't get any better. The edge and the super b are a nice fun combo.

We had a 01 with 62/68/14 SXE with our 150hp injectors and Quadzilla. Was a blast to drive towing or just on the street and spooled quick.
