XZT update problems?????

I bought a used xzt from on here and i cant update it?I plug it in and the usb port conects and disconects rapidly.Bing,bing,bing,.So, I thought no big deal maybe I'll sell it and buy another one.well it got here today(the new one) and it does the same thing I have tried 3 different
usb cords and they all do the same thing.Can anyone help

my adrenaline would do the same thing. This is what you do. Do not plug the xzt+ in first. First open the program that you want to update the xzt+ with. After you have done that, then you can plug the xzt+ in the computer. Then click update module and that should do the trick. At least that's what worked for me.

Nope that doesnt work either?
This is really trying my nerves..................Bought 2 of these things and neither one work.Wow thats amazing.I have tried 3 different cords and 3 usb ports on my comp.All of them do the exact same thing.The comp see's the xzt for a split second then its gone again and again and again.I dont understand how 2 units can be doinf the exact same thing?

My old dell dimension desktop was notorious for the usb ports and cd drive malfunctioning. Have you tried another computer? sorry in advance if you've already tried this.

Thanks for the input.I never really thought it could be my comp.I'll try the old lady's laptop tonight.It's a long shot but who's to say it wont work.All of my mp3 players and cameras work on all of the ports but I'll still give it a try.

Update. It worked.I dont believe it.laptop seen the xzt as soon as it was pluged in,I clicked on get module info.Everything ame up,then I downloaded the 2005 file that I wanted and it all went good.Im happy but still confused,I wonder why it wont work from my desktop?The new Xzt I just got the other day say's software version 20080128.
Does that mean it has the 2008 file?or am i way off in my thinking?

My mom's old desktop didn't even like my ipod classic, let alone my quadzilla adrenaline lol. It would do that same retarded beep like what you were talking about earlier. Pissed me off to say the least when it would happen to me. Glad to see you got it working

Ive emailed quad before with some questions and problems.They have never got back to me.The only help I have had with a quad product is from this forum.
