hotrod vp44??

just curious im new to the cummins world ive been in turbo buicks all my life and ive always wanted a cummins and now i have one.

i live in reno nv and we have to smog diesels which sucks big time.

I want to upgrade my vp44 to a industrial injection hot rod vp or the schieds lightning vp44 with 100hpo sticks and the bd r700 twin kit and an airdog150 with all the supporting mods i.e, bhaf, built tranny with billet converter, guages and what not.

since i have to smog my truck will this setup somke real bad?

fill in ur signature so we know what your working with please.. but u should go with bigger sticks if u plan on twins.. it will definitly smoke, but idk what your smog laws are???

With the box off, my set up doesn't smoke too bad at all with 100hp sticks. And I'm currently running a scheid Lightening VP as well. Its very light smoke and clears up quickly.
