wierd thing happens when i shift and nail it sometimes... ADRENALINE??

well everyonce in a while when i go through the gears fast in my truck i will floor it in a gear and the tires will spin or i will hit the limiter usually the tires are spinnin then i shift and get on it and the truck pauses like its not doing anything then the power kicks back in. only every once in a while it does this.. maybe i dont get back on the gas fast enough or what i dono.... its almost like its a automatic with reeeeaaallly badddd defueling at shift points. anyone else have this problem??? its a 6 speed.. maybe the pumps poopin out???

Could be a number of things. What's your fuel pressure? Have you checked your codes so as to have a starting point at least in diagnosis?

Is it the fact that you have to build boost again after the shift and since your not getting back in the throttle right away it takes longer...???

What are your gauges doing when this happens?

its not the clutch i put a dual disk in it isnt reving up then it kicks on like a switch and takes off. i havent checked the gauges i bet its because i lost boost because i know when i really shift fast and get on the gas while letting out the clutch it doesnt do it. my friend said theres a thing on the pump where if your not putting out a certain amount of boost it wont fuel untill that boost is made so it must just be that?
