engine swap underway
well guys I've got the engine sitting in my dad's shop. It's a replacement 2001 that comes complete with the ecm, engine wiring harness, turbo, and injection system. Just curious since obviously the ecm on this engine and the pcm from my truck won't match vin number wise, will the truck start with the different ecm? I'm going to swap my old ecm for sure but just curious. Pretty excited though, the engine only has 106,000 ponies on it, gonna relocate the ht3b side by side with the hx35, and I have an adr/pulse combo waiting to go on. All I want to get now is a smarty haha.
