I HEAR that f1's run a little cleaner than ddp's, I am wanting to dyno my ddp's then maybe borrow a set of F1's and dyno them also. But honestly thinking about getting some F1's just to try them out.

i wonder how smokey a jammer would be if they made a 200 hmm????anyways, to the original question, my fbd 240's and special are super clean with no box on...they only smoke down low while the turbo is trying to light when you mash on it...wasnt sure if you were gonna try another injector but i know i can keep my setup super clean if i want (and the price is super hard to beat)...

I ran dragon flow 10 holes with a 64/65, then with a 62/65. They were smokey all of the time & were absolutely no fun to drive. I switch to Dragon fly 150's & they were a clean, smooth, smoke free injector. The power felt identical, but the smoke disappeared. I'm talking exactly the same feeling powerwise. I did 476hp on Dunbars dynojet with the flies & a 62/65/12, edge comp. I switched to M5's last winter & a 62/71/14, did 534hp at Hybrid dynamics dynojet with a 70% tune in my Adrenaline. This spring, I switched to a BD Super B Special and did 611hp at 57psi boost. I run 62psi on the street. The M5's are literally a clean injector unless I have the box on kill. I tow 18k# with this setup quite often & have no egt issues at all. I don't think there is a injector out there which compares to F1. All of my vids are on youtube, just click link in my sig.

From what I've read, more holes = more smoke

If you want to rebuild your engine because you broke a tip off the II injectors run them. What they do is the utilize the factory holes and then edm more holes right above them casuing the nozzles to be week. This causes overlapping spray patterns and bad atomization. I think there was a 1hp difference between a 11-hole and 7-hole injector on the dyno of the same size but the 11-hole ran hotter and caused alot more smoke.

I have seen 5 local guys break or crack tips and many others with the II 11-holes just saying it could happen. I know they are on other sites but not sure about this one. Why would it be the persons own fault if you crack or break a nozzle tip. I guess it was their fault they were running them.
