vulcan draw straw 1

Well i tried emailing vulcan tech and no reply. So I need your guys help. I snapped both lines off the sending unit while doing a raptor 150 install. So i figured I would buy the draw straw one with the two fittings on it, one for suction and one for factory return line. My problem is since the truck is 50miles from me in my parents garage. I wanted to know what size are the factory lines? I wanna just run a rubber hose with hose clamp to the factory return line that is left to the 3/8fitting given with the kit and then run the raptor to the 1/2inch fitting.

do you think its possible that i get a hose that fits over the 3/8's fitting on the draw straw and clamp the out of the 5/16's return factory line?

Draw Straw I 1/2 in. draw tube and 1/2 in. pushlock fitting

One of the option is

DrawStraw I Preassembled 1/2 supply & 5/16 OEM return connection [Add $5.00]

Is that what i need? 1/2inch for raptor fuel in, and 5/16 fitting to run with oem return correct?

"All necessary components are included*, no need to go shopping for extra parts and no tank drilling!"

"Uses OEM grommet, slight internal modification to fuel module required."

No tank drilling? internal modification to pump? um confused.

Would somebody chime in that has done this drawstraw please? I need to order something so i can fix it this weekend.

i may be wrong.. but i think the draw straw 1 might go in your sending unit.. im guessin you just pull those metal lines out and insert the draw staw .. i would call them just to be sure .. the draw straw 1 should come with directions

I called vulcan today the guy said I actually drill the pump out where the return line and suction fit into. And it is a 5/16 for oem return line.
