A cam will give you the most benefit in the higher RPM range. They aren't going to hurt lower RPM at all, but you won't get much gain from them until you are really winding it out. Thats when they start to shin. I would highly recommend a different turbo over a cam at this point based on what is in your sig.

The stock turbo can't provide the air that your engine requires as of now. You will notice much much larger gains from a turbo than you will from a cam right now.

With that said, there are a lot of factors that go into making a cam a good cam and personal preference. Lift, Duration, and lobe seperation all play a big part in how a cam performs. I run a helix 2 and like it. Fletcher's cam also seems to be very popular at this point. As is the Max spool 2.5.

echoing the priors, the return on investment on a cam is so low that it should only be considered as a last modification.... put a more appropriately sized turbo on your truck first.....

Well, if you have the front of your truck and engine already off, then doing a cam now makes sense in at least the respect of having the truck torn down...

Helix II is an F1 Diesel product but I think they're sold out right now...

Fletcher's cam is from Diesel Pros... you'll have to call them to discuss and/or order...

Maxspool cams are a greg hogue product...

I'm going to be running a Scheid cam in mine soon...
