raptor 150 install gone bad

Well i gotta all of it done except disconnecting the fitting from the gas tank. Well I pushed and pullled on the clip while depressing it and I snapped the metal elbow clean off the sender unit! So wheres the cheapest place to buy a sending unit?

wow that sucks...i thought i was going to break mine though...i guess i just got lucky. if it was me i would just look for a way to plug the hole and not worry about it. on mine i just used a rubber plug that fit over the metal part tightly and put a zip tie around that and it holds(doesnt leak).

what are my options? I dont know if i have enough to run a hose off of the existing half broken piece? draw straw I could just plug that hole and drill a hole for draw straw right? Do i have to drain the whole tank to drill the draw straw hole cause of the shavings?

the tank strap goes right up beside it .. you are going to need a deep well socket
