Trust me you want to do this. I know of a few trucks that have ran like this all summer. One is a 01 6spd dually redline, sovp, hx50, and 6x16s. This is a 2.6 truck that is out infront of 2.8 trucks every week.

interesting...i didnt realize guys were having this problem...now does this apply to guys running the redline only (as in, someone above 4k), or the rest of us? im hovering around maybe 3500rpm and havent noticed anything of that nature (prob. cause im not above 4k)...

well it would be redline only as it doesnt happen till your above 4k rpm. The ecm senses run away and starts freaking out and turns of the fuel system off then comes back on. Basically you just got to wire it so the fuel system is on when the key is on not through the factory plug or you can do it as jamie did it in that thread. Alot of people dont realize its happening that have redlines but it is.
