i want my truck to produce black clouds behind it. But i still want to keep that all powerful horsepower. What do u think would be the best programmer for that?

not to be rude but ur not gonna get advise with that question. black smoke is a real touchy subject on the forum right now, so id probley refrase the question and ask maybe " what would the best programer be for my application, horsepower wise, user freindly features, all around dependability? " something along those lines would get alot more freindly feed back from the cummins forum community. other wise the "black smoke" question is just opening up pandoras box. good luck and welcome to the forum....also fill out your signature so we all know what truck ya have and any mods done to, helps out alot in answer any future questions you have!

Black smoke is overrated. Unless you want to impress little kids. Havin a truck with no smoke and ungodly amounts of power is what you want.

Dude everyone wants to smoke but it really is a pointless goal to try and reach.... the thing is look at new emission laws... lets not make them shut down our trucks to where is illegal to drive. Dont tick people off!!! Only smoke at the track, or the rare street race(and make sure its worth it)

I wanted smoke bad. So I got some. Way more than what i wanted. I was cool for a day. Now im spending more $ to get rid of it. You get tickets in the mail and it gets old real quick.
