make sure the compressor outlet is in the right place to be hooked up to your intercooler

Usually how i do it is i loosen the bolts on the exhaust housing and compressor housing. Then bolt the exh housing to the manifold and the compressor outlet to the elbow goin to the intercooler. Next i straighten the center section to the oil feed line inlet is straight up then tighten the exh housing and compressor housing bolts back up.

[quote=razocow;2197671]They are inside the head, only time you will see them is when you pop them out a little to remove an injecter, also check the o-rings on the connector tubes for damage or wear as they will not seal right and you will have starting issues if they are.[quote]

when I purchase the injectors, I am assuming that they will not come with any o-rings for the connector tubes??

I am asuming that they will just come with the copper washer and o-rings for the injector????

They should come with oring and washers on the injectors. if you need new orings for the connector tubes you can get them from any cummins dealer.

if you think a cummins turbo is hard to install. You should of seen when i installed a stg3 16g on my srt4. The turbo is on the fire wall side with a one piece manifold. It has severel supports tucked under there to hold the turbo up and then you have to twist the turbo and manifold to get the biatch out. The cummins turbo is right there in plain sight. Couple bolts, oil feed, intake, exhaust your in.
