sorry i missed your post . smarty timing + more timing =

the first time i was playing with my smarty/drag comp (not knowing what i was doing) i tryed an odd number . it sounded like the overhead wanted to come through the hood.

the vp will advance far enough to hurt the engine. i wouldnt run more than one timing adder on my truck. (jmo)

I don't see anything about that. Post #12 is BS in my opinion. 62lbs of boost with just a stack? Not possible. That takes injectors.

hua... id like to talk to that guy. he may have big lines, and tubes also. (which retard timing) so that might be why he can run his timing that advanced. he is mechanicaly retatding his timing, so he can electronicaly advance his timing.

My experience when stacking timing with timing was the truck rattled like it was 20* outside and it fell on its face at about 2000 rpm.....

BlackedOut02 poaching my spreadsheet huh?

I had made a thread about this in the past. The spreadsheet is just a work of my best knowledge and advice from others. So don't hold it as the absolute truth on the matter. If anyone has suggestions/corrections, please let me know.

So when everybody puts bigger tubes and lines on and they say there was no power gain is that beacause they actually retarded the timing ...so when you put the bigger lines on and then bumped the timing back up where it should be you would probably notice a power gain ????? Let me know if this is correct or just bass ackwards
