to much smoke?

hey all my truck is stock besidces a cai and 4" tbe str8
and when i fire it up it puffs black and when i drive in each gear it hazes a bit not BLACK but more of a brown not alot but enough that i can see it in my mirror i dont have a box or anything that im aware of i took my filter off and it kinda smoked less but not really. ( jic my filter was to small) and i noticed it started to happen around the time i changed my fuel filter?? its not alot of smoke but i think its way to much for a basicly stock truck ? any ideas ?? no codes or anything

Do you have gauges?

It could have a set of larger injectors in it if it smokes. I would look at where the injection lines bolt in the head, you may be able to tell if they have ever been removed, meaning the injectors have been changed.

Mine does it and my boss has a bone stock 02 6spd that does the same thing. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.
