i can smoke out roads with ease, but when i hook up to a sled there just a bit of haze.. and still on the stock turbo.. also the pyro doesn't even go that far maybe 1500 degrees the most.. i am pullin in third low with 3.55 gears and have no problem keeping the wheels spining. i was thinkin about trying fourth low but affraid to break somthing.lol

For the most part my old set ups didn't smoke at all when the turbo was lit. With 200s and the special and a mean Adr tune it has a good haze even when the turbo is lit. Thats just the way things are, also the no smoke at boost means your burning most if not all of your fuel.... think of it as a good thing.

is every 24valver like that or are there ways to getting them to smoke without p-pumping them?

No, not every 24v is like that. You can make them smoke even at full boost, it just takes a lot of fuel, or a small charger.

My truck doesnt smoke much at boost, but its easier for me to throw more fuel at it with the p-pump.

Vp Trucks Start To Defuel At 2700 Rpm. The Edge Drag Comp Will Fuel To 3200, Then Defuel. You Need A Box That Gives You Full Fueling To 4000 Rpm To Keep It Smoking.

so would the redline box be better than the smarty/comp setup overall? then how will the redline box be on the street?

I was fine with the redline on the street with my friends truck but someone said he has a newest version that has all the bugs worked out like jumping from 2700rpm instantly to 4000rpms when free reving when pulling and its supposed to be alot smoother. Redline unlimited is the only box i will buy for my truck.

Well when i pull i run 31-3200rpm all the way down the track my truck doesnt defuel till 3300rpm so i dont hit the defuel when pulling and i have no smoke the reason is vp44s can fuel that hard so the turbos can easily clean them up even with 150s mine truck would clean them up like this. Heres video of mine pulling.

better 4th then 3th. 4th gear is stronger than 3rd

3rd gear is too low IMO. i have ran 4th. that could be why your not smoking. the truck isnt lugged down enough. run a little higher gear might see some smoke....watch the egts though i would think with 150's you would smoke.....how is ur fuel pressure btw?

whats your gear ratio? and what gear do you pull in? in my video i was in third low. it seems the truck could have taken fouth low, but don't want to break nothing, do you think i would lose all momentum if i put it to the floor and let the defeuler kick in or should i just try to maintain 3k rpms. lol my first year pullin with a dodge. last truck was a ford 6.0l auto. my frist trial run
