What year truck is this? It it's a '99 and older, they have two plugs on the top of the filter housing.
For the 2000 up models, you do not have these ports.
However, if you have a tapped banjo bolt, it can replace any of the fuel line fittings AFTER the fuel filter.
Putting a trans temp sender in the case is the worst place for it. As in most locations they do not have any real fluid flow through the port, you are only measuring the case temp.
The best location is on the hot line coming out of the trans. Second best bet would be in the pan if you have one tapped for a 1/8" NPT fitting.
