need some advice before i waste my money

ok i have a few questions im looking at a set of injectors form pensacola diesel Inc. 50hp for $217 no core and free shipping brand new would those be ok to run or would i be better off with the rv 275's, i could the the rv 275's full or just the nozzles i would like to have a set of back up injectors but might be willign to jsut get the nozzles, how hard are they to change i knwo the hole injector is easy but not sure bought swaping the nozzles. and the last thing is. i know cummins says the 24v shouldnt have to have the valves adjusted but i was wondering if while im in there with the injectors would it be worht lookign at the i mean i have all the tools to do it and the motor has 240,000 miles on it i'm thinking they could use alittle adjust what do you guys think?

Definitely do the valves. The owners manual even says every 150k but I prefer 80-100k miles. I noticed a big improvement in the sound and responsiveness at 90k miles when I did mine.

And I'd go with the full injector. And most likely the pensacola injectors are rv275's. 95% of the 50hp injectors out there are rv275's.

man thats a good thing to know ive had the truck since it had 178,000 miles on it, so if we dont have a bad triple digit day in arizona tomorrow i might go ahead adn do the valves before i get teh injectors. anything special i need to knwo about them, the only thing i have read on how to do them was the haynes repair manual havent been do bad with trusting them but jsut wondering if i need anything special it says just check them with a feeler gauge i think .10" for the intake and .20" for the exhaust does this sound about right?

.010 intake and .020 exhaust. Nothing special needed at all. Pretty straight forward.

I hear ya on the heat. Gonna be 104* here today and I gotta do the brakes on all 4 corners. I'd rather set the valves. At least the hood gives ya shade .

Ya. Disks here. But swapping all 4 corners out with only two jack stands ain't exactly fun.
