All autos are SO. They flow more than a HO. 500 is the HO limit.

HO-high pressure, low volume
SO-low pressure, high volume
The SO pump is better because it can flow more fuel. I have heard of one person that made 650hp on a SO pump.

I have a buddy with an 02 6-spd HO, with the HX35 turbo. Would it do me anything if I swapped his HX for my HY? He is looking at new ones, and if it'll help me out, I'm just going to pay the core charge.

HX35 should support another 30-40HP or so.

SO pump #'s end in 027
HO pump #'s end in 028

His diesel guy(my new diesel guy) called him today on prices for different turbos. He is going with a Phat Shaft, and there is no core charge. So you think the HX would be a good idea? Anything else I need to change/modify?
