As you can see from my sig I have a sps62 with 150hp sticks, hrvp44, and a smarty. I get a lot of smoke sometimes on a hill when I stop, and take back off again. Always at risk of a lot of smoke if the boost goes below 7-10lbs.
Maybe I am too picky, maybe I expect too much.
When I was in Ohio I didn’t have much smoke at all but down here in West Virginia I can shut down an intersection. Does 2,500ft of elevation make that much difference? Maybe its the fuel, or just that I drive up and down a lot more hills now. :P
What are my options? I was thinking maybe twins if I can get a turbo that’s a little quicker than my sps62 and run them together or just getting propane.
I have thought about getting smaller injectors.
What do you guys think?
I am not even sure why I bother asking this with my transmission slipping again.
Ok your first problem is your using a smarty as your main form of electronics. The reason I say that is that the smarty only makes about 65hp and fuels really hard on the bottom end, and leaves you disappointed on the top end. Most of the time the smarty is used stacked on top of another programmer on the 24v. My advise is one turn your smarty down to say level 3 and two take the money you where going to use on smaller injectors and buy a larger programmer such as tst powermax3 or edge comp ect. ect. and lastly I dont think you should be slipping your tranny at your power level but if so that should be first fix. Sorry for the rant

So at higher elevation would that mean you want a smaller turbo cuz the air in your exhaust is thinner, or a bigger turbo so you can force more of that less oxygenated air in the chamber.
