i need a good replacement starter for my truck. help please

when starting my truck the starter kinda bogs down almost then turns over. I think this would because of a bad starter or is there anything else? also would a rebuilt kit fix it or would it have to a be a whole new starter.

Please Help

Thanks

do a search for starter contacts, its a 6$ fix and 9 outta 10 times is what is actually wrong with a starter, before you replace it pull the cover off the solenoid and look at the contacts,

starter contacts can cause everything from "clicking" to a slow turning starter or even staying running when the key is off.
again check all the other stuff first, battery condition and cables/battery terminals etc

i had the same problem. I replaced the starter and it still did it, so i got my batteries checked out and one was bad. so i replaced both. then my alternator took a dump on me and took out one of my betteries with it which was why it started slower and slower.
