Shifting ???s

So we just went and picked up my brothers new truck....Its a 1999 dodge 2500 shortbed with the cummins its got ats dual exhaust, hot rod vp44, 150 horse sticks, full billet ats race tranny, ats intake horn, edge comp, 14mm headstuds and fire rings, and an hx40/ht3b twin setup .....now the question is when you mash it to the floor it pulls so hard but goes past redline and you have to let out of it to get it to shift and it does it every gear any ideas why you have to let out to shift ????? apps??????

It could be it's fueling that hard. With the mods in my sig on my truck, with my foot to the floor it will go past redline every single shift. Of course, mines the stock transmission, so that could be a problem too.

If you stay in it, does it shift? I bet its got a drag comp on it and its gonna fuel all the way through redline. You will feel like the trucks gonna explode, but its working how its supposed to.
