no oil comes out. there will be oil residue under the cover but thats it. just take all the bolts out of the cover and wiggle it out. for me if i slide the cover towards the turbo it comes right off. good luck.

how does everyone think mine is going to be in the 2.6 class with a 180 pump benched and flowed at 550cc with ddp comp 250s and an s465 charger.

pump has got full cut dv's, 5k gsk, no plate and no afc, but i added the afc back on.

You have the fuel, now just focus on the suspension setup if you havent already and id say that would be a competative truck.

It's more in the setup than you probably think.... lots of big power trucks get beat by trucks with a properly tuned setup.... you'll definitely have the fuel(isn't your setup a lot like T.J. Bates??) but on the national level, aren't some 2.6 guys starting to run 13mm pumps?

Did you finally get your timing issue figured out??

and for me, I just need to order my cam and then patiently wait until Thanksgiving weekend and it'll be on like donkey kong... benched 175 pump, coversion Mach 7's, Haisley street cam and my current twins....

Well my truck was running kinda crappy lately and with work and hunting didnt have time to mess with it much. It was popping when revving and blowing white/blue smoke when cold. I finally got around to checking my timing and found it was at 13* pump timing(my guess would be ~10*once you figure in the difference in popoff pressures and what not). NO wonder it ran like crap. Not sure when it slipped timing but i could notice a big difference once i put the 131 dvs back in it to swap the full cuts out.

I took it up to ~22* and it runs MUCH better now. Even starts up real good in the mornings
