The freeze plugs inside the head are stuck in pretty good. It looks like the machine shop used a chisel to "mark" the edges in 4 spots on each plug. I'm not too worried about those. The rear plug is replaced with a billet tapped plug. Funny you bring that up because I'm considering making one while I've got the turbos out and I can reach that rear plug.
For those pondering the EGT issue, I forgot to mention I changed from a 75/83/1.1 to a 75/96/1.32 on the primary.
So did you have more of an EGT problem before or after you swapped the primary? Seems like it should be a little cooler now that theres less restriction. Wonder if swapping to a 14cm on the secondary would help any. Has anyone ever ran a t4 housing on their secondary on a vp44 truck? Just curious id say it would probably be too laggy doing that.
