I bought it with the lift done and 3000 miles on the ticker and it was in perfect shape. As far as keeping it that way, I bought it in the fall tucked it away in heated storage and started it once a month to keep things lubed. Now that I have it out of storage, I never drive it in the rain or when rain threatens. I've never touched the paint, I shut the doors touching only the plastic on the door handles. Always turn the vent on after I've run the A/C to blow the condensation out of the evaporator/ductwork so it never starts to smell musty (tip from the original owner). I have towels down in the interior anytime I drive it, even though it has seat covers. I've added the tow mirrors and nerf bars and have a ton of parts to install over the next several weeks/months.

As far as power, I don't want to throw out numbers cause that will just set me up for a fall, but with the work and parts going into the motor, it should do pretty well once the tuning is sorted out.

2002 2500 QCSB, 3000 miles of Cummins perfection, almost done! '15 3500 RC SRW all stock. '14 3500 CCSB SRW 18x9's, 315/70s. Couple 97's too for good measure. Next project, 1975 Dodge RCSB powerwagon...

I wonder if the breaking procedure is actually being harmed through this, I mean aren't trucks supposed to be broken in over a year, not 7 years. I don't know....

7" Skyjacker long arm...

I guess I'm not that worried about the break in stuff. I guess it would be a question for some of the more notable engine builders for pulling, racing, etc. I would think those fresh motors receive a fairly low amount of miles and probably dont get much of a break in before being used hard.
