my 1000 dollar truck purchase today.good deal?-20130723_192044-385x289-.jpgI lucked up I think and bought this today.1999 QCSB 24 valve automatic 4x4.its got 360k miles on it.3.54 gears.i gave 1000 for it.was it a good deal?ive only owned a lot of 12v trucks.i picked it up from a mechanic shop that said the vp pump was out.the owner said the 4x4 didn't work but I looked under it and the front axle shafts and driveshafts were gone.

I paid 2k for mine but put a new LP and IP on so a total of $3700 and only had 130k miles.

no need for the motor swap... if you were wanting a mechanical pump just put a p pump on it... but it would be cheaper just to put a vp44 back on it and go

I think you did really well...doesn't look like much rust, and most 2nd gens you buy off PO's need a couple g's worth of work anyways

I just redone my 95.im a mechanic and bodyman.it has new doors,bed,pass fender,drivers side rocker and cab corner.
